Ecumenical Activities

Our congregation is blessed with many people who give of their time and talents willingly to serve our church, community and Our Lord Jesus Christ.  Below are some of the ways we volunteer to help others:

ST. MARY’S FOOD PANTRY

Below is a list of the food items needed year round by the pantry. All food items can be dropped off at the Rectory front porch or in the church. (Please do not leave any frozen items in church.) Monetary donations can be mailed or dropped off at the Rectory Office or put in the collection basket in an envelope marked Pantry Donation.’ We can also use brown paper bags and plastic bags for food distribution.

If anyone can volunteer one hour a day, please contact: Bob Jacobus at 609-298-0494; Kathy Hughes at 609-324-1696; Rectory Office at 609-298-0261.

The Boy Scouts of America  BSA  http://www.scouting.org

We share our church facilities with The Boy Scouts of America by allowing Cub Scout troops to use our Fellowship Hall for meetings.

Play and Learn Pre-school

Our church proudly hosts a wonderful pre-school.  It is located in the room behind the alter of our church.  For more information, call (609) 298-1678.

Our church is also used by AA groups of men and women seeking sobriety and Al-Anon groups for families and friends seeking help when living with someone with alcohol addiction.

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
